Angeliina Lawson-Listing and Buyer Specialist
How long have you been in real estate? I recently received my Kansas and Missouri license in June of this year(2018). Yipee!
What is your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of the job is being out talking with Kansans. They invest their time and energy into our community and I love being a part of their journey
Favorite real estate memory? I was sponsoring my first open house and noticed that in the front yard the tree has a heart shape mark from where a branch was recently removed. I put together a quick scavenger hunt for customers to find the picture I showed them and soon the kids brought the house to life with energy and the families walked away smiling with a great memory of that home. Not every home has some unique to find but if you can find something that makes that home different, customers will remember.
Favorite Food? Homemade Mexican food with the real refried beans OR whatever friends are cooking food.
Favorite Place to Visit? I enjoy visiting flower markets, pick-your-own farms and anything to do with the fall season! Bring on the pumpkins!! Oh and spice lattes!
What is your One Thing? Relationships. Of course my family is already a big reason and because life is so unpredictable, relationships are so meaningful
Favorite sport or sport team? I don’t like high impact sweating, it hurts my pores so I do low energy activities such as knitting, Netflix marathons, move plants around in the front yard to say I garden and wear fan gear when everyone else is.
Favorite Book? I loved the Laura Ingalls Wilder series. My cell phone cover is the “Little House in the Big Woods” with quote “The real things haven’t changed. It is still best to be honest and truthful; to make the most of what we have; to be happy with simple pleasures; and have courage when things go wrong.”
Favorite Movie? Steel Magnolias!!! Tear up every time. Love anything with Sally Fields and Julie Roberts and cozy fuzzy socks in PJs!
Best word that describes you? Tenacious! My greatest weakness is easily that sometimes my strengths are too strong for the situation I’m kidding!!! I can’t even think-read that, it is so ridiculous but I hope it made you laugh
